Heather Holland | 200hr RYT & Studio Owner

As a studio owner, she has taught all levels of students in many different practices. She currently works within the Strength and Conditioning program with the Minnesota Twins as their yoga instructor. Yoga for athletes has been implemented in just about every professional sport. As an avid sports fan, she is able to recognize what elements of yoga each sport can benefit from.
Heather serves on the board of NubAbility Athletics, a non-organization which gets limb different athletes off the bench and on the field. Heather offers yoga, pranayama, meditation and myo-fascia techniques to all of her students. In her spare time, she chases around her twin boys.

Alaina Andrews | 200hr RYT
Alaina developed a passion for yoga after her college experience left her feeling stressed out, tired, and more confused then ever. She quickly realized that healthy conscious living felt way better on the body and the soul and her path as a yoga instructor was born.
She received her 200 hour teacher certification in Ashtanga Yoga in December of 2010 and has been teaching ever since. Alaina’s passions in life are yoga, being on the water, and design. Her wish is to bring beauty and peace into the lives of others through these ventures.
Her vinyasa classes include a flowing blend of asanas based off of the Ashtanga practice combined with the restorative elements of breath work, loving life, and enjoying living in the moment! The postures are linked with the breath to create energy in and purify the body.
Each class is adapted to the needs of the individual students within the class with modifications given as needed. Come learn how to flow, relax, and let go in one of her classes.
Val Olsen | 200hr RYT
Valarie has been a student of yoga for about 20 years. She found that practicing allowed a deeper understanding of self and the mat provided a place to work through not only the challenges of the physical practice, but an emotional outlet, as well.
Through study and becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher in 2011, she found the value of taking yoga off the mat with the 8 Limbs of Yoga and the desire to share this gift with others. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Valarie has used the linking of breath and movement to assist clients in relieving stress, depression and anxiety and well as a tool for self-care.
Valarie’s classes are combination of the influences of the many teachers she has had the privilege of practicing with over the years, including Hatha, Power, Kripalu and Iyengar.
Ashley Howard | 200hr RYT
Ashley has been practicing yoga since 2004. When she was growing up, she was a gymnast and finds that yoga is closely related to gymnastic movement. She has practiced many forms of yoga, including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Power, Prenatal, Mommy and Me, Babywearing, and even aerial hammock yoga.
She received her 200hr RYT from Ruby and Pearl’s (now Yoga Tribe) at the end of May 2014. Her teaching style is ever-evolving, alignment based, and puts emphasis on having fun while harmonizing the breath, body and mind. She encourages students to laugh and enjoy the asana practice but also stresses the importance of focus during meditation.
Ashley loves to practice arm balances and inversions in her personal practice. She loves that yoga is never perfected and there is always a new challenge.

Gary Granza | 200hr RYT & Budokon Yoga Certified
My mission is to empower each student to explore their own limits and the style of practice that will fit their individual needs and lifestyles. I teach classes that have integrity and respect for yoga tradition are still fun, sometimes irreverent, and that work with the reality of modern life. My classes are non linear breath to slow transition from the core based.
I am a 62 year old, proud second generation, New York City street guy, from New York City (Astoria, Queens). To enhance the left side of my brain, for the last twenty five years (until December of 2015), I have been doing technical information security for large financial institutions. To keep myself balanced using the right side of my brain, among other things I teach and practice Yoga . I started practicing yoga in the early 1990’s. I was instantly drawn to yoga. I could never have predicted where this journey would take me.
I believe in teaching yoga that has the utmost respect of the yogic traditions; that has integrity; is fun; can be irreverent; and that understands the reality of modern life. I believe that;
- “Yoga engages the totality of who I am as a human being.”
- “The way you doing anything, it the way you do everything.”
- “Resistance is created when you are focused on something other than the expansion of the present moment. Think about that. Breath it in.”
- “Speed of movement hides deficiencies.”

Yoga is a practice…enjoy the journey!
Sheri loves helping others and her goal as a happiness consultant is to support others in their journey to live their lives more through gratitude for their abilities, rather than expectation of what they believe they ‘should’ have.
